Welcome to the Citrus County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller's Payment Plan Application.

Florida Statute 28.246(4) gives the Citrus County Clerk of Court the authority to offer payment plans which allows for partial payments of traffic citations and court related fines until paid in full.  

Payment plan applications are not accepted until reviewed by our office and applicable fees have been paid.

To establish a payment plan per F.S. 28.246(4), complete this online application and pay the following applicable fees.   

• $25.00 per case administrative processing cost per F.S. 28.24(27)(c)
• Down payment of 10% of total court-related fines/costs owed (up to $100) per F.S. 28.246(4)(b)2

*If reestablishing a defaulted plan, $25.00 administrative processing cost per case, a down payment of $100.00, and a completed payment plan application is required.

Monthly payment amount varies between $25.00 - $100.00 per month based on # cases combined

The following cannot be placed on a plan:

• Traffic citations in which you are electing traffic school or a hearing 
• Traffic citations for proof of insurance, registration or driver’s license unless proof is provided
• Restitution ordered is not included in a payment plan
• Pre-trial Intervention programs (PTI)
• A pay or appear citation (must pay in full or may apply for a payment plan after a hearing where court fines assessed)
• Court-related fines/costs with a specified timeframe ordered by the Judge

Once approved, an agreement with payment terms will be emailed if address is provided; otherwise, it will be sent via standard mail.
